Eligibility for Admission
The Union Public Service Commission establishes the criteria for CAPF eligibility. Central Armed Police Force is the full name of the organization. Seven Indian police organizations conduct the CAPF exam to hire Assistant Commandant (Group A) Officers. Candidates should make sure they meet all applicable CAPF exam eligibility requirements before applying for the 2022 exam.
Candidates are only admitted on a provisional basis at all levels if they meet UPSC requirements for the CAPF exam. Once a candidate has advanced to the interview process, the eligibility requirements are only verified using the original papers.
Among the requirements for UPSC CAPF eligibility are the following:
A candidate must be an Indian national to qualify for the CAPF exam in 2022. The Union Public Service Commission Central Armed Police Force exam is also open to people who are citizens of Nepal and Bhutan.
Candidates who are citizens of another nation do not meet the qualifying requirements for the Central Armed Police Force. Such candidates are only permitted to sit the CAPF exam with the Central Government’s permission, which must be supplied in writing to be considered.

Written Exam: CAPF AC Selection Procedure
The written entrance exam, which is held at the designated CAPF Exam Centers, is the first stage of the CAPF Recruitment process. The fundamental format for the CAPF AC Exam is provided below:
- Paper I (of the objective type) and Paper II are the two papers (subjective type)
- Paper I carries a 250-point weighting, while Paper II carries a 200-point weighting.
- The first paper lasts for two hours, while the second takes three.
- Paper I has questions in Hindi and English, while Paper II solely has questions in English.
- Questions on general aptitude and intelligence are included in Paper I.
- Essays, comprehension, and general studies questions are all included in the Paper

CAPF AC Recruitment: Interview
The last phase of the interview or personality test will be held for candidates who are found fit and pass the medical standards test. The UPSC CAPF Selection Process will award 150 points for this step.
It is significant to note that applicants who have been deemed medically incompetent but have been granted permission by the Appellate Authority to appear before the “Review Medical Board” in support of their appeal will also be invited for the final round.

Medical Exam & Physical Standards for CAPF AC Selection
The candidate’s medical assessment comes next in the CAPF AC 2022 selection method. To be eligible for this step, a candidate must receive the minimum aggregate marks specified in the UPSC CAPF Cut Off for the CAPF written test.
Candidates who meet the qualifications will be invited to do a medical standards test and a physical efficiency test. The Medical Standards Test will only be open to the candidates who pass the PET; all other applicants will be turned down. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) information is provided below:
