For a written exam, the maximum mark is a hundred (100). The question paper has two sections (Section I & Section II). The first section is 40 marks, and the second section is 60 marks. To be eligible to qualify for the exam, the candidate must obtain a minimum of 40% marks from each in sections I and II and a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Generally, there is no negative marking; if so, it is informed just before the exam.
First Section
It has two parts (A & B). For this the allocated marks are forty (40 marks)
Second Section
General Awareness. For this the allocated marks are sixty (60 marks).
Short Essay in English: Practice writing short essays on various topics from previous TA exams and current topics
English Comprehension & Language
English comprehension / Summary / Synonyms and Antonyms / Sentence sequence in PQRS form / Paragraph with fill-in-the-blanks
General Awareness
Multiple choice questions from History, Geography, Politics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Reasoning, General awareness & current affairs (person, place, sports, awards & any related happenings which are in the news recently) – the entire syllabus will be practised
One Mock Test per month (one Sunday for the month)
